I have compiled HTK successfully on windows. 

I am trying to compile HDecode on windows. Using:

nmake /f htk_hdecode_nt.mkf  all

I got link error “cannot open hdecode.orig.lib”

So I made a copy of the hdecode.lib and named it hdecode.orig.lib and repeated the namke

Then, I got link error “cannot open hdecode.mod.lib”

So I made a copy of the hdecode.lib and named it hdecode.mod.lib and repeated the namke

Then it worked and I got two exes (looks identical)

hdecode.orig.exe

hdecode.mod.exe

What is wrong?! What should I do?!
