Hello,
i wanted to ask, if its possbile to use the german acoustic model from voxforge with my own language model i created with the lm tool from sphinx (http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/tools/lmtool-new.html)?

yes, you should be able to do this. Note that there may be a newer version of the VoxForge German acoustic model on the CMU Sphinx site.
